Senkaku Ritshi Ruins

This monument was erected in 1928 to commemorate the achievements of Sengaku, a monk known as a researcher of the Manyoshu. The text was written by Nobutsuna Sasaki, a scholar of Japanese literature and poet, and the calligraphy was written by Takain Okayama.
